Mason Buttle is the biggest, sweatiest kid in his grade, and everyone knows he can barely read or write. Personally, the story left me feeling melancholy…even with the ending resolution. While it wouldn’t be my personal choice, I appreciate the ability of the author to create these emotions within me. ![]() ![]() Throughout the story, I felt despair, anger, and helplessness.
